Clift has been a great resource to me over the many years since he helped me buy my last house over twenty years ago. In this past year he has been extremely helpful and patient on my latest quest to purchase a home. Initially, my focus was on a 40 plus year old south Austin one-story homes near William Cannon and Menchaca. I had been renting in the area and had become familiar with the best wsy to get to work as well as shopping at the local grocery store weekly. My landlord announced he was going to sell the home I was renting and would not renew or extend the lease for the short term. I put my home search on hold and leased a newer home in Rancho Alto off of Frate Barker. About that time a girlfriend came into my life and we mutually began to appreciate the larger and move spacious open floorplans of more modern homes. I re-started my home search with Clift six months later and focused on homes in south Austin and Buda that were built more recently. Clift and I have known each other for over 40 years. I own a downtown condominium and wanted to lease the condominium and purchase a larger one in the same building. I reached out to Clift from receiving a high recommendation from a mutual friend. Clift helped me quantify a possible purchase price based upon very few comparable properties. The good news I was going to finance and the property appraised with two appraisals!

Clift’s second challenge was to determine what I could lease the condominium that I have owned for 8+ years. Clift promptly evaluated the downtown lease market in detail and provide his analysis. I agreed on an initial asking price to test the market. After a couple of weeks, we lowered the price and were successful in finding a tenant in 34 days. The good news is the tenant paid the entire twelve months of rent at the time of move-in.

We had two homes to sell (Austin and Bastrop) last fall and one to buy in Naples, FL and we could not have done it without Clift Bowman. Clift helped us buy those two properties 10 years ago and we have stayed in touch and knew he was the right realtor to help us again.
