I met Clift through a financial consultant and shared with him that I had consciously been working on reducing my debt and was ready to purchase a home. I work in Marble Falls and feel comfortable commuting 45 minutes each way so I could pretty much live in north Austin, Cedar Park, Leander, Round Rock, or Georgetown. Clift and I set out to look at homes several times in many neighborhoods. My twin sister traveled with us once and she helped me fine tune my search to the Georgetown area. I fell in love with a small, older home located only 1 ½ blocks of Clift’s great-grandparents home in Georgetown and actually went under contract on the home. Unfortunately reality set in after the Home Inspection and Clift worked with me to determine the home needed a lot of structural, plumbing, and electrical work way before I could consider some cute, cosmetic updates. Well, I ended up purchasing a newer home in a master plan quaint neighborhood within walking distance of San Gabriel Park. Yes, it was a learning curve; but Clift carried me through the process and I am thrilled with the end result!

I was attracted to Austin and moved here in August 2008 with my family because of the health awareness the community offered and the cultural diverse population. I was re-entering the medical profession after taking a sabbatical and met Clift at an Open House near Westlake High School. Honestly, I wanted to purchase a home but the neighborhoods and features that were important to me needed to be placed on the back burner as I establish myself in the medical community. Clift showed me variety of larger homes For Lease in Barton Creek, Regents Hills, and other comparable neighborhoods. Our family landed in Lantana subdivision in a three year old home located off of William Cannon and Southwest Parkway for now and each of my children are enjoying their own private bedroom. Clift assured me he would keep in contact with me and be ready when I am ready to purchase my home in the next year or so.

I met Clift over 20 years ago when we were both involved in several civic organizations in Austin. I had been renting for the previous 3+ years and recently married my college sweetheart after both of us had gone our separate ways. I shared with Clift that it was very important for me to be within a reasonable short distance of my two girls from a former marriage to continue to spend quality time with them. We looked at a variety of homes in the north central and northwest corridors. Clift’s attention to detail was stunning while showing us homes as well we appreciated his in-depth knowledge of the history of the developments. We were both fairly new to the Hwy. 183/FM 620 area and Clift took the time and showed us some homes in Canyon Creek subdivision. It turns out we fell in love with a one-story, David Weekly open floor plan located on a greenbelt and Clift put us in touch with a first rate mortgage broker. We enjoy our neighbors, the community swimming pool, and trails that Canyon Creek offers. We are appreciative of Clift’s efforts and see ourselves living here for many years

We were referred to Clift by our accountant who works with us in our small business. During our initial meeting, I asked Clift many questions about specific neighborhoods and what was important for us and our two girls. Our primary focus was specific elementary and middle schools in the greater northwest area of Austin. We looked at many of the homes and actually monitored some that went under contract during our search. We purchased a home in Spicewood Estates that met our needs. Clift was very patient with us and helped us methodically think through each home as a possibility for our family.

We enjoyed working with Clift. During our first meeting we shared with him a loft that looked very appealing to us. Clift took the time and showed us 25+ condominiums and townhomes within our price range to compare. After revisiting our favorites several times we selected a new home that is part of a condominium association in the Ridgetop area that offered a private backyard and reasonable homeowner’s dues. Thanks so much for all the help with the house. You made the process enjoyable and smooth for us.

We worked with Clift for nine months while we built our dream home and sold our first house. We were impressed with his preparation and commitment for both transactions. He was on a personal vacation fielding offers and was able to lock in a buyer within one week. We didn’t feel pressured and he was great about communicating on the next steps in the process. We really benefited from his many years of experience.

His ethics are also great. He pointed out that his compensation amount on the contract was higher than the agreed amount. Who does that? We likely would have missed that with all the numbers flying back and forth at closing. We are glad Clift was recommended to us and will be sending our friends and family his way in the future.

Thank you for your consistent hard work and patience while helping us sell our home in Travis Country, while working even harder to help us find a new abode. Your direction and expertise with different neighborhoods was so important as we faced the decision to downsize. You helped us to be opened minded and made yourself available whenever we needed your advice! Your impeccable timing in finding our lovely Village of Western Oaks home allowed us to only move once! How lucky were we to close one day and find our new dream home the very next day!
